To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if there are any unpublished documents dealing with the responsibility of Admiral von Tirpitz in the matter of the German submarine campaign during; the Great War; and will he consider the desirability of their publication?
Captain BENNThis question has been postponed until Wednesday, but may I ask whether the Government have made any representations to the German Government that the appointment of Admiral von Tirpitz to high office will be greatly resented by the Allies?
§ The PRIME MINISTERI have not the question of the hon. and gallant Member in front of me, as it is postponed. I can assure my hon. and gallant Friend that we have not neglected to do what we consider to be our duty in this or in other similar respects.
