HC Deb 31 July 1924 vol 176 c2216
71. Major COHEN

asked the Minister of Labour whether an application from the British Legion Poppy Factory, an undertaking which employs only disabled ex-service men, has been received for a capitation grant under the appropriate Regulations of the Ministry of Labour in respect of the loss incurred by the employment of disabled men; whether such application has been rejected; and, if so, upon what grounds such rejection has been based, while grants under the same Regulations are at present being made to similar undertakings in various parts of the country?

The MINISTER of LABOUR (Mr. Shaw)

The reply to the first two parts of the question is in the affirmative, but I am further considering the application.
