§ 67. Sir A. BUTTasked the Home Secretary whether, having regard to the deception, and often injury to their health, inflicted upon poor people by advertisers of patent medicines, who allege that they are capable of curing malignant diseases, he will introduce a Bill making it obligatory that all patent medicines shall state clearly on the labels the principal drugs they contain?
