asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer the amount of the grants made by the Unemployed Grants Committee to local authorities to assist unemployment works schemes during the first six months in each of the last three years?

In view of the bearing of these figures on the Debate to-day, will the hon. Gentleman give the three figures asked for?


I am afraid it would be misleading to do so, but I will put the hon. Member in possession of the Return before the Debate takes place.
