Lords Amendment:

In page 2, lines 13 and 14, leave out he shall nevertheless be entitled to receive benefit.

and insert the Minister may in his discretion authorise the payment of benefit to the applicant.

This Amendment appears to be a privileged Amendment, and alters the statutory condition for receiving unemployment benefit.
