§ Mr. SNOWDENI have no information in the sense indicated in the first part of the question. I would remind my hon. Friend that there is no power in law to compel traders to reduce prices when duties are lowered, but generally speaking, the reduction in the Sugar Duty has been passed on to the consumer.
