HC Deb 23 July 1924 vol 176 cc1288-9
6. Mr. LANSBURY

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the Government will consider the appointment of a representative to take charge in the House of Commons of important questions which now come before the League of Nations, in addition to the representative of the Government who, deals with these matters in another place?

Mr. PONSONBY

The Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, besides the Prime Minister, speaks for the Government in this House on such matters. It is not considered necessary that there should be any other special representative.
