§ 60. Mr. HOGGEasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he has received any representations from the people of Mauritius regarding a change in the constitution of their legislative council; and, if so, whether he can say what is being done to meet these representations?
Mr. THOMASI am aware that the question of the revision of the Constitution of Mauritius has been freely discussed in the Colony in recent years, but I have received no formal representations on the subject.
