§ Major ATTLEEThe British Representative on the Allied Military Committee of Versailles is a member of, and not attached to, that body. In addition to giving his opinion to the Committee he reports any matters of importance direct to the War Office, and on any question in which he is in doubt he requests instructions as to what attitude he should adopt.
