Mr. ADAMSONA sum of approximately £40,000 has been received to date from applicants for seed oats and seed potatoes under the Board of Agriculture scheme. Nothing has yet been received by the Board from voluntary funds, and the amount recoverable from the Committee administering those funds will not be known till all the credit slips issued by the Committee to applicants have been received by the Board. The total expenditure on the scheme cannot be 185 ascertained pending the settlement of outstanding questions as to merchants' accounts and freight and railway accounts.
