asked the Secretary for Scotland the total profit or loss on the farm settlement accounts in Scotland for 1923–24?

Mr. ADAMSON

I assume that the hon. Member's question relates to the figure for the year 1923–4 corresponding to the figure for the year 1922–3 shown tinder the heading Profit and Loss Accounts in Statement C appended to the last Appropriation Account for the Board of Agriculture for Scotland. The Accounts in question will not be completed until later in the year, and I cannot, therefore, give the figure for 1923–4 at present.
