§ 40. Sir WALTER de FRECEasked the Prime Minister whether he proposes to lay before Parliament before the Recess the instructions to he given to the British representatives at the autumn meeting of the Assembly of the League of Nations?
§ The PRIME MINISTERI doubt whether the suggestion is desirable, but in any ease it would be impossible to lay anything before September since in most cases the instructions cannot be prepared until very shortly before the Assembly meets.
