§ Mr. SNOWDENThe principal headings which show a decline in the receipts from Customs duties during the first quarter of the present financial year, as compared with the corresponding quarter last year, are spirits, tea, cocoa, sugar, tobacco, and the new import duties. No information is available as to the amount of duty received on goods consigned from Germany. The answer to the last part of the question is in the negative.
