HC Deb 28 February 1924 vol 170 cc829-30

Postponed Proceeding resumed on Question, That a supplementary sum, not exceeding £10, be granted to His Majesty to defray the charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1924, for the salaries and expenses of the Post Office, including telegraphs and telephones. Question again proposed.

Mr. HARTSHORN

When the last Bill came on, I had a few other statements I wished to make at the time, but having regard to what has taken place, I will not re-open the discussion now. I hope with such statements as I have made, and the reasons I have given for this Vote, the Committee will now allow it to pass through.

Question put, and agreed to.

Resolutions to be reported To-morrow.

Committee to sit again To-morrow.
