§ The MINISTER of LABOUR (Mr. Thomas Shaw)It is estimated that 300,000 ex-service men are registered at the Employment Exchanges as unemployed. Recent figures are not available with regard to the numbers of unemployed ex-service men in receipt of disability pension, but steps are being taken to obtain this information. Those registered for employment whose war disability is regarded as a substantial handicap in obtaining employment number 11,597.
