§ 57. Mr. PRINGLEasked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the decision to reduce the levy under the German Reparation (Recovery) Act, he will give facilities for the discussion of a Motion for the suspension of the Act, as provided in section six.
§ The PRIME MINISTERWe have no intention of suspending the German Reparation (Recovery) Act; and in these circumstances, and having regard to the amount of urgent business before us, I am not prepared to give facilities for such a Motion as the hon. Member suggests.
§ Mr. PRINGLEI beg to give notice that I will put down such a Motion to be taken after 11 o'clock.
