§ 4. Mr. BAKERasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will consider the appointment of a Royal Commission on the shipping industry, with particular reference to the financial position during and since the War?
Mr. WEBBI doubt whether there would be any advantage in the appointment of a Royal Commission on the shipping, any more than on any other industry; and, in view of the great amount of official work at the present time, I would suggest that the matter had better be deferred.
