(by Private Notice) asked the Postmaster-General whether the mails from Plymouth have yet been delivered in accordance with his assurance in the House?

Yes, I am pleased to inform the House that the whole of the mails which were held up at Plymouth have been brought to London, and are being distributed this morning. We hope the distribution will be completed throughout the country this afternoon and to-morrow morning.
