HC Deb 19 February 1924 vol 169 c1522
43. Sir KINGSLEY WOOD

asked the Secretary of State for War whether the War Office has received representations from War Department workmen and their associations in relation to a scheme for the establishment of a pension fund; and whether he will give the matter his favourable consideration?

Mr. WALSH

Yes, Sir, representations have been received at the War Office, and T will give them careful consideration.

Sir K. WOOD

Will the right hon. Gentleman receive a small deputation of Members of this House who are interested in this subject?

Mr. WALSH

The considerations arising out of a question such as this are not really matters for a deputation, but matters to be gone into more carefully on actuarial lines.
