asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if the Government, is going to restore the gold standard at an early date?

Mr. SNOWDEN

I would refer the hon. Member to the answer which the Prime Minister gave yesterday to the hon. Member for West Stirlingshire (Mr. T. Johnston).

Will the Committee which the right hon. Gentleman is going to set up deal with the gold standard?

Mr. MARLEY

I would like to ask whether the hon. Member who puts that question, if he find the gold standard, would bring it into the House, so that we might see it?
