asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, under the agreement lately entered into recognising de jure the Soviet Government, the Government is prepared to guarantee the sums that may become due to British firms for goods delivered to the order of Russian firms or subjects?

The PRIME MINISTER

It has been arranged with the Government of the Union of Soviet Republics, as I stated last week, that the question of export credits should be considered, together with the other issues to which I referred, by the conference between representatives of this country and of Russia which is shortly to assemble in London
