§ 29. Mr. BOWERMANasked the Minister of Transport whether it is the intention of his Department to issue regulations similar to those in operation in Glasgow and elsewhere, whereby mechanically-propelled vehicles are not permitted to pass stationary tramcars engaged in putting down passengers?
§ Mr. GOSLINGI have no power to issue regulations similar to those referred to. It would require legislation to enable me to do so, and I am not satisfied that such legislation is desirable.
§ Mr. BOWERMANMay we take it that it is of less importance to protect life and limb in London than in Glasgow?
