§ Major TRYONThe list of persons authorised to attest pensioners' declarations 2546 on life certificates has recently been widely extended by the inclusion of members of War Pensions Committees, accredited voluntary workers attached to Committees, and members of my Advisory Committee and of the Standing Joint Committee. I am not prepared to recommend any further additions to the classes of authorised attestors.
§ 7. Mr. PIELOUasked the Minister of Pensions if he is aware of the great inconvenience caused to pensioners by the fact that identity life certificates have to be renewed every three months; and will he consider the advisability of extending the period?
§ Major TRYONIt has been decided, subject to the necessary legislation being secured, to extend the period of validity of pensioners' life certificates from 13 to 26 weeks.
