§ 60. Mr. PALINGasked the President of the Board of Education if he is aware that the West Riding County Council Education Committee made application in March, 1921, to be allowed to erect a hut in which to provide instruction in domestic subjects for the senior scholars attending five elementary schools in the Ecclesfield area; that approval was not granted, but that owing to the urgency of the question and the fact that the Ecclesfield Education Sub-committee have continued to press strongly for this provision another application was made in March of this year which has again been refused; and that a hut suitable for this purpose has been stored in the playground of the Ecclesfield council school for nearly two years; and, in view of this fact and the obvious necessity for the provision of such instruction, will he reconsider the whole question and give the necessary approval for the work to proceed?
