BARLOWDuring the year ended 31st March, 1923, 12 disputes, resulting in stoppages of work, were reported to the Ministry of Labour as having arisen between co-operative societies in Great Britain and their employés. The total number of workpeople involved in these disputes was approximately 2,640.
§ Mr. BECKERHas the right hon. Gentleman any knowledge of a strike at Silvertown, where the workers demanded a living wage from a co-operative society?
