Mr. CHAMBERLAINThe duty actually imposed on the Minister of Health by Section 2 of the Ministry of Health Act, 1919, is to take such steps as may be desirable to secure the training of persons for health services. The needs of the situation have been judged 506 to be adequately met by the revisions effected since the establishment of the Ministry, in the qualifications required of medical officers of health, sanitary inspectors and health visitors.
