HALLasked the Prime Minister whether the Government is prepared to consider the possibility of an arrangement to provide for France and Belgium continuing to occupy the Ruhr provinces until such time as the devastated regions of Belgium and Northern France shall have been fully restored?
§ Mr. McNEILLThe policy of His Majesty's Government towards the occupation of the Ruhr was clearly stated at the close of the Paris Conference in January last, the papers respecting which have been laid before the House. I see no reason at present to modify that policy.
