§ 49. Mr. LAMBERTasked the Prime Minister the names of the members of the Committee appointed to co-ordinate the activities of the fighting Services; when that Committee will sit; and when it may be expected to report?
§ The PRIME MINISTERIt. is not customary to give the names of members of sub-Committees of the Committee of Imperial Defence. I am glad to say, however, that Lord Balfour and Lord Weir have consented to join the Committee. With regard to the second part of the 35 question, the Committee has already held several meetings, but it is not yet possible to say when it will be able to report.
§ Mr. LAMBERTIs not the Committee of Imperial Defence composed of the same gentlemen who have led us into this disastrous mess?
§ The PRIME MINISTEROh, no. They are quite different.
