§ 76. Mr. R. RICHARDSONasked the Minister of Health whether he will furnish a return showing, as nearly as can be estimated, the total number of houses built in the United Kingdom during each year from 1913 to 1922, inclusive?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINThe available information does not enable me to furnish such a return as is requested. But according to the Census of 1921 it appears that the number of structurally separate dwellings increased by 357,000 in England and Wales between 1911 and 1921.
