HC Deb 21 March 1923 vol 161 cc2524-5
53. Colonel WEDGWOOD

asked the Prime Minister whether the question of the pact of military guarantee of France has been raised unofficially or officially since tie occupation of the Ruhr between His Majesty's Government and France; and, if so, will it be made clear without delay that no such pact will be entered into by this country without the cooperation of America?

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative; the second part therefore does not arise.
