§ Major BOYD-CARPENTERFollowing the practice in recent Financial Statements, an estimate of the total rates collected by local authorities in the year 1922–23 will be given in the Financial Statement for 1923–24. It is not, however, practicable to obtain particulars of the estimated expenditure by local authorities in any year in time for a table to be included in the Financial Statement relating to the same year.
