§ 29. Mr. W. GRAHAMasked the Under-Secretary to the Scottish Board of Health whether the Government intend to reintroduce the Employment of Children Act (1903) Amendment (Scotland) Bill, as amended and approved in last Parliament by the Scottish Grand Committee; and whether, in view of the fact that this is an agreed Measure, early facilities will be given?
§ Captain ELLIOTThere is no much prospect of time being found for the Bill in question at present, and in the circumstances its early introduction is not contemplated. If, however, an assurance were forthcoming that the Bill would be treated as an agreed Measure, my Noble Friend would be prepared to consider the matter further.
