§ Earl WINTERTONThe total amount of the orders mentioned by my hon. Friend is £6,867,500, of which £6,665,000 represents orders for articles manufactured in Great Britain. As I have already informed my hon. Friend, the orders for material placed during the same period by the State-worked railways amount to £1,735,000, of which all but £200,000 worth has been placed in Great Britain.
