Mr. MORELasked the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether His Majesty's Government have any information as to alleged purchases of war material in this country on behalf of the Polish and Yugo-Slav Governments; and if he will furnish the house with the figures giving the present strength of the military forces of Poland, Yugo - Slavia, Czechoslovakia, and Hungary?
The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for WAR (Lieut.-Colonel Guinness)I have been asked to reply. In regard to the first part, I am not aware of any such purchase having been made. In regard to the second part, according to the best information in my possession, the figures are:
