§ 25. Mr. ROBERT YOUNGasked the Minister of Pensions whether, seeing that a pension granted to a father for the loss of his son in the War is not transferable to his widow, who is the sons mother, on the occasion of the father's death, whereas, under these circumstances, the need of a pension is increased for the mother on the death of her son's father, he will consider this question?
§ Major TRYONIn the circumstances stated, the mother is eligible for consideration for an award of pension on the ground of pecuniary need.
