HC Deb 26 July 1923 vol 167 c685
74. Mr. BECKER

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether, seeing the financial success of the State printing works at Harrow, he will recommend to His Majesty's Government that they buy a paper mill wherewith to supply the Stationery Office with paper?

Sir W. JOYNSON-HICKS

The suggestion in the hon. Member's question will not be overlooked, but at present the Government has no intention of embarking on a venture of this kind.

Mr. BECKER

Seeing the great success of these works, will the right hon. Gentleman consider the question of voting a little more money?
