§ Commander EYRES-MONSELLThe selection of persons allowed to attest life certificates of pensioners is a matter for the Treasury, but the Admiralty see no reason for making the proposed extension.

§ Commander EYRES-MONSELLIt is a Treasury rule, and the sergeants at police stations are considered very suitable people to sign. It is no reflection on anybody else.
