§ Lieut.-Colonel LANE-FOX (The Secretary for Mines)The approximate amount realised during the year ended 31st March, 1923, by the disposal of Government buildings and plant utilised in the Government oil-boring experiments was £25,000. The amount reserved for interest on Exchequer advances and on administrative charges amounted on 31st March, 1923, to £104,903. The total loss on the undertaking at that date, including such interest, was, approximately, £678,000.
