THORNEasked the Minister of Health whether the South- 1874 wark Board of Guardians will receive from the Metropolitan Poor Law fund the sum of £104,764 for the half-year ending June, equal to a reduction in the rate of 1s. 8d. in the £; and when he will be in a position to give a definite answer about what are the intentions of the Government with regard to relieving the Poor Law necessitous areas?
