Mr. GRATTAN DOYLEasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the increase of retired pay, due to reassessment and granted only to officers who served in the late War, of officers who retired before the War but again rejoined and became disabled, may be made exempt from Income Tax, in addition to any disability pension, in order to place them on a similar basis to that of officers who retired before the War owing to ill-health caused by former military service?
