§ 95. Colonel MORDENasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that 90 per cent. of the films shown in this country are produced in the United States of America; that American producers, having made their profits on their films in the United States, are able to sell them at a very small price in England; that it is the intention of the American producers by this means to drive the British producers out of business altogether; and whether he will consider what steps can be taken to enable British producers, who employ a number of persons, to continue their legitimate industry?
