§ 44. Sir KINGSLEY WOODasked the Minister of Health whether the Brook Fever Hospital at Shooters Hill is about, to be permanently closed; and whether he can state the reason for this course?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINThe answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. I understand that, owing to the reduction in the number of cases of infectious disease in London, further admissions to this hospital are being stopped for the present, but the hospital will be re-opened as soon as it is needed.
