HC Deb 05 July 1923 vol 166 c601
27. Mr. GRAHAM WHITE

asked the President of the Board of Education if his attention has been drawn to the attempt of some education authorities to introduce additional terms into the school year in order that children may leave school as soon as they reach the age of 14; and, if so, what is his attitude in the matter?

Mr. WOOD

I may refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave on the 14th June last to my hon. Friend the Member for Royton (Sir Wilfrid Sugden).
