asked the Minister of Labour whether his attention has been drawn to the fact that British subjects enrolled for work in France have been drafted into Germany to be used as strike-breakers in the Ruhr; and whether he will make inquiries into this matter?

According to all the information I have been able to obtain, there is not, the slightest foundation for this suggestion. I have verified that none of the British workmen sent for work in France through the agency of my Department have been drafted to work in Germ any.
