§ Mr. ORMSBY-GOREIn cases where it has not been possible to find employment for retrenched officials in other Colonies, compensation allowances have been granted on the principles of the Superannuation Acts in this country, that is to say, of as many sixtieths of the officer's pensionable emoluments as he has had years of service, two years being counted as three in the case of European officers under the provisions of the Superannuation Act of 1876.
