§ 44. Mr. HURDasked the Minister of Labour what are the reasons for the ruling given by his Ministry to the effect that milk recorders are not engaged in agriculture and are therefore liable under the Unemployment Insurance Acts?
§ Mr. BETTERTONThis question, I presume, refers to the decision given by the late Minister of Labour under Section 10 of the Unemployment Insurance Act of 1920 on the case of a milk recorder submitted to him. Decisions given under Section 10 of this Act are in the nature of judicial decisions, and the Act enabled any person aggrieved by a decision to appeal to the High Court. In these circumstances, I do not think it desirable to enter upon the legal grounds for a particular decision by way of question and answer.
