I am not in a position to make any further statement at present. With regard to the treaty with King Feisul, I have nothing to add to previous statements on the subject.
§ Captain BERKELEYMay I ask my hon. Friend whether the approval of the League of Nations Council is necessary to this treaty, and, if so, what steps will be taken to secure it?
§ Mr. ORMSBY-GOREI think the fact that it is proposed that the relations between the mandatory Power and the Arab State are to be regulated by treaty has been communicated to the League of Nations.
