§ 88. Mr. ROBERT YOUNGasked the Minister of Health whether, seeing that the operation of vaccination is in many cases enforced, he will see that where untoward results ensue compensation for loss of health and employment wages will be paid, seeing that vaccination is primâ facie in the interests of the community?
Mr. CHAMBERLAINThe Vaccination Acts do not provide for the compulsory vaccination of adults, and I am advised 43 that there is no statutory authority for the payment of compensation out of the rates in the circumstances to which the hon. Member refers.
