§ Major TRYONThe total expenditure (excluding cost of administration) of my Department for the year ending 31st March, 1922, was £90,035,516, as compared with £100,364,647 for the previous year, a decrease of £10,329,131, or 10 per cent. The cost of administration for the year ending 31st March, 1922, was £5,524,100, a decrease of £756,769, or 12 per cent. as compared with the previous year.
