§ Major BOYD-CARPENTERThere is no available information as to the number of old age pensions withdrawn on account of the receipt of disqualifying Poor Law relief, but during the year ended 31st March, 1922, the number of claims to pensions disallowed and the number of pensions withdrawn on that account in Great Britain, taken together, were 13,459. The amount of old age pension represented thereby cannot be given.
